I had a brilliant morning this morning sending emails back and forth with my BFF, Scott. He was at work (he lives/works in Chicago, USA and I live in The Illawarra, Australia).
We had a blast being silly, singing, doing the hokey pokey (yep that's right the hokey pokey via emails.... lmao) Besides the couple of emails I have already added to this blog, he sent me a beautiful angel picture and a YouTube link for The Lion Kings, Hakuna Matata.
After that I had lots of energy for a productive day.
* striping and cleaning out an aquarium
* the dishes
* hand washing/laundry
* defrosting the freezer
Okay it may not look like a big list BUT all those things take alot of time to accomplish... That's my reasoning and I am sticking to it :P
Caught up with my msn friend Shane today who after being told that I have listened to the Puddle of Mudd cd at least a hundred times, promises to send another of their cds soon! Woohoo!
This afternoon my youngest son came home from school happy with how his couple of days of School Certificate exams went. Just one more exam for him on Friday and he is over and done with exams for the year! yeehaa! Good Luck Sweetheart xxx
I rang my friend Ruth this afternoon and had fun being silly with her and catching up with the week so far. We are definitely boycotting our bookgroup book. OMG I just can't read another word of it and nor can she lol So apologies to people that really liked Charles Frazier's, Cold Mountain. I did managed to get half way through - so I did give it enough of a shot, in my opionon, for it to get better... :P
Today got pretty warm so tonight my youngest and I took off for a walk down along the lake about 7pm - well I walked and he roller bladed - we chatted, played music and sang. It was a great way to end a fabulous day.
This is a photo of a section of Lake Illawarra. The lake is 35 square kilometre in size so it's a pretty big lake.
A photo of Josh in action on the roller blades lol
